We are so happy to announce, after years of being virtual because of Covid, we will be holding our 2024 Maine Green Independent Party Convention Sunday May 5th at the wonderful Viles Arboretum 153 Hospital St. Augusta. Below that is a video of the center if you have not been there. For those who have, note the new building. We will be in the room we have always had in the main building with the kitchen.
We are honored to have Jill Stein at our Convention. She has been traveling all over the US but felt that the Maine Greens were worth coming to Maine for. So I hope you can all come and give her your support.
Lunch will be a "Pot Luck", asking people to bring: salads, appetizers, snack foods, bread, desserts. We will provide the drinks at lunch and will also have coffee, teas and juice during registration and through out the day, as well as muffins and fruits at registration. Feel free to bring your favorite non alcoholic drink if you like.
While registration starts at 9AM, for you early birds, if it is a nice day feel free to come earlier and wander on their wonderful trails. Also there will be some limited tabling space for anyone who has something to share. We will have the Green Horizon for everyone. More information below. If you have any questions you can e-mail or call me 207-284-3358. Love, jacqui
