Bio
Samuel Anthony Ettaro is a national figure in the freedom broadcasting and citizen journalism movement. An experienced talk radio and TV host, Ettaro is also a gifted multi-media producer and instructor. As a public speaker, Ettaro is engaging, animated, funny and very provocative. He tells it like he sees it with brutal honesty and a cutting wit. Problems are dissected, obstacles addressed and solutions are offered in a fast-paced and interesting manner. Ettaro has a very unique way of making the seemingly complex seem very simple.

As a media activist, Ettaro is most well-known for his past works as Aaron Russo's National Media Director. Many independent media producers credit Ettaro's passionate public speeches, leadership and educational efforts on the subject of "Guerrilla Citizen Journalism" with being a major force in establishing the now-exploding national independent media scene. In January, 2001 Ettaro left his position with Russo's organizations to run for local office and focus his media efforts on building RepublicMediaTV. In his second year of a four year term on his local Borough Council, he is currently one of only a handful of Green Party elected officials in PA and is passionate about using today's new digital media technologies to reach new people with his message of community-building, sustainability, clean industry and youth-focused education.

Professionally, Ettaro's experience is broad. He has produced documentary films and television shows which aired on PBS and commercial broadcast stations and he's made his primary living for many years as an independent digital media consultant creating DVDs, video and websites for clients around the country through his home-based studio.

Currently Ettaro serves as a full-time instructor of digital media technologies at one of the premiere career and technical education high schools in Pennsylvania and he continues to serve a small number of select clients on a part-time consulting basis. He is still very active on a national level as a media activist, educator and indy newscaster.
