Douglas Campbell was the 2002 and 2006 Green Party candidate for Governor of Michigan. He came to committed political activism indirectly. He has had a lifelong passion for machinery, energy conversion and energy conservation, which led him to become a registered professional engineer. Early on, he had high hopes for the possibility of advanced technology improving people's lives but later came to realize that it is political and economic forces which are holding people back, not the lack of technological advances.
Campbell joined the Green party upon learning of its existence in 2000, but has advocated for Green principles since he was in high school. Originally from Chicago, he currently living and working in The Motor City. Back
