Bio
In 2005, Luc D. Schuster became the first member of the Green-Rainbow Party elected to municipal office in Cambridge, Massachusetts. At 25 years old he was also the second-youngest member ever elected to the Cambridge School Committee. Schuster attended Cambridge Public Schools and received his B.A. from Pomona College with a major in Politics and a minor in Religion. He is currently employed as an assistant humanities teacher at King Open.

Schuster has worked as a youth organizer with the American Friends Service Committee and is currently serving on AFSCME's Regional Program Committee and its Peace and Economic Security Committee. He is also the Male Co-Chair of the Massachusetts Green-Rainbow Party and is a member of the 100 District Leaders for Civic Engagement and Service-Learning, a national network of school board members and superintendents. He is a multicultural competency trainer with the New Hampshire Minority Health Coalition and a nonviolence trainer.
