DC Statehood Green Party leaders are alerting voters to be prepared to deal with problems at the polling stations and in vote counts, in the wake of a severe breakdown during the District's primary election in September.
Statehood Greens thanked DCWatch (http://www.dcwatch.com) for persuading the DC Board of Elections and Ethics to establish a telephone hotline on Election Day to receive calls from voters who encounter problems at their precincts or who witness any improprieties at the polls. The number is 202-727-2194 and the phones will be staffed by the Board's General Counsel, Ken McGhie, and by seven attorneys.
