Green Party Youth Caucus Achieving Accreditation Goals
AJ Segneri: Youth Caucus Co-Organizer
Ryan Jones: Youth Caucus Co-Organizer
The Youth Caucus is on its way to being another GPUS accredited caucus. Recently the caucus gained 121 members in 15 states. "We are very excited of the turn out of those wanting to be involved in the caucus" said Caucus Co-Organizer, AJ Segneri "We are going to have a meeting at the Presidential Convention where we will talk about future activities and events, elect officers, and network with those at the convention." The Youth Caucus is to reach out those in high school, college, and to young professionals in order to build the Green Party. One of the goals of the caucus is to hold a national conference in the summer of 2013. Having the caucus will help recruit and retain the youth demographic that the party needs when it comes to candidate and party support.
For those who want to know more about the caucus, then you can attend the Youth Caucus meeting at the Presidential Nominating Convention in Baltimore on the 2nd floor of the University of Baltimore Law Center starting at 3:15pm to 4:45pm.
