At the end of December 2007 GPUS has an accounts payable of $6335.35 to Red

times a year and is a vital part of GPUS fundraising efforts. The average
resolicitation mailing returns averages over three times the cost of the
mailing itself.

At the end of December 2007 GPUS also has an accounts payable of $3,286.01
to Prompt Printing for printing of the Fall 07 issue of Green Pages and
5,000 copies of
Democracy is Coming. The next Green Pages is scheduled to go out in

The Rules and Procedures, Fiscal Policy, Loans states: To cover emergencies,
sudden expenses, or seed funds for special projects, amounts of $2000 or
less may be borrowed, with the express written authorization of the Green
Party Steering Committee. Larger loans must be approved by a vote of the
full National Committee.

Proposal #262, Loan to Pay Printing Bill, for $9,948.46 was approved by the
GNC on March 5, 2007, by over 88% of the delegates voting yes or no.
Interest-free loans were received from nine Greens and were paid back within
four months.

The National Committee agrees to accept interest-free loans from Green Party
members to pay the $6335.35 due Red Sun Press and the $3,286.01 due to
Prompt Printing, a total of $9,621.36.

The first profits from the January resolicitation mailing will repay those
who have contributed to this loan.
